Description
In June, 2022 Zaleski Backpack Trail was renamed the Selinde Roosenburg Memorial Backpack Trail. It consists of three loops with hiking options from 10 to 30 miles. It’s Ohio’s most popular backpacking trail, with good reason. The trail is well marked and maintained as it travels through beautiful rugged topography complete with rock outcrops, small caves, pretty streams in the valleys and vistas from the ridgetops. The three camp areas each provide a latrine and a cistern for water. This BackpackOhio Trail Guide was updated in 2021 and includes local information, trail descriptions, hiking directions, a comparative scorecard and two maps.
